in this blog post ill explain four ways to drive free traffic to your link, page or website these strategies can be applied by anyone and does not require any paid ads, I'll also go through these strategies step by step.


starting off by explaining what traffic is, traffic is the amount of visitors that have visited your site or page and it can either be measured by the host website or using platforms like Google Analytics.


not to dwell too much lets start with the first one:


1- Quora or Yahoo Answers


Platforms like Quora and Yahoo can actually help you put your products infront of the right customers without over searching them.


for example lets say someone asked a question on which tv shall they buy and they put everything they look for in a tv, and you believe your brand is the perfect fit for them in that case you can recommend your tv, not only the person who asked the question will see it but everyone who is actually looking for a television with the same specifications.


In the following example the subject asked what are some good gifts for dog owners, Natalia went ahead and offered her product to the subject many people found her product helpful therefore Natalia ranks first in the answer section.





the same applies whether the subject is looking for a tv a car or even a good product to take care of their skin.




2- Facebook Marketplace


Facebook marketplace is a good way to drive free traffic to your products all you have to do is to mention the right keywords in your listing, if someone is interested in buying a gift for example and you're product has something special to offer you can type in your listing "the perfect gift for a loved one" this will put the buyer in the scene of them purchasing them for a loved one.


3-Search Engine Optimization


lastly, SEO or Search Engine Optimization is the best way to drive free traffic, however you need to research a long-tailed keyword with low competition to rank for, lets say you want to rank high for the phase "Personal Trainer", the phase would be too competitive as alot of people are trying to rank for the same word, so you need to target keywords less competitive keywords, for example "Fitness Trainer in Dubai" would have much less competition as less people tend to use it.


you can research less competitive keywords using a platform like Semrush.com or Moz.com when you find the right keyword and support it with the right backlinks you are guaranteed to rank higher on search engines like google.


4-Hashtag and Location Strategy


Hashtags might seem outdated but thanks to platforms like Instagram and Facebook they are consistently developing to give the user the best experience recently Instagram added a feature called alt-text where you can explain your post so the Instagram engine will put it infront of the right people, also adding the location can drive some free traffic as people who view the location will be able to see your brand.
